Mr, Brignall purchased Jr’s dog,‘‘Harvey of Avondale III" sometime ago. From here Mr. Brignall motored to Calgary and Drumheller where he entered his dogs in the Field Trials, winning 2nd and Zth. Lester Hendersen of the U.S. Army, who just arrived home from Korea spent the week-end visiting with his sisters, Mrs. Allan Holladay, Mrs. Walter Taylor and his brother, Ollen Hendersen. Sunday evening in the Second Ward Church, Lester showed pictures and slides of Korea. Dull support is what most Presidents receive. MAGRATH UNITED CHURCH NEWS; The United Church Exposition which is coming to the city of Lethbridge from Friday, Oct. 2nd to Thursday, Oct. Sth will be one of the finest church dis­plays every presented in the South Alberta Re­gion by the United Church of Canada. Of the 200 participants in the pageant, sixteen peo­ple from Magrath, Spring Coulee and Raymond will take part in the Scene entitled "The New Frontier" which depicts the work of the United Church in the suburban areas of our major Canddian cities. The people in the scene are Mrs. Norma Owens, Mr. Tom Morrow, and Mr. George Daranuik. The children are Shirley Arndt, Yvonne Wccknitz, Irene Hocking, Ricky Overn, Alan jOvcrn _and Alan Rusler.
