The Freshman olass chose the play "The Jack and the Joker" a comedy written by Gwen Phaii'S Ringwood depicting incidents in the colorful life of Bob Edwards of the famous Eyo Opener of early Alberta, Buery Gruninger, winner of the D.F.C. and brother of Anton and Victor Gruninger of Magrath, portrayed Bob Edwards, This play was conceded to be the most en­joyable of those presented and one of the girls in the oast was judged to be the best actress of the evening, Boyne Johnston, formerly of Spring Coulee and a pupil of Mrs, Pharis, assisted in the production of "Three Hundredth Performance" the Senior play. The Spphomore class p^BB- (cont'd above and across) ented "Johnny Dunn", by Robert Gard, This play was based on Alberta folk lore. The Junior play, "Into Thy Kingdom", a pageantry drama, was adjudged the best play of the evening. Grant Woolley, Manager of the Lions, introduced Captain Edberg, who in turn introduced his t&jn. It Was a great game all the way with the -Anerican*maintaining a substantial lead most of the time. The game can be extremely fast as the All Stars showed during one exhibition of superb ball handling in the first quarter, "Soup" Stromme and Bukowick deemed to lead the Falls team with Edberg doing much of the play making, Magrath was defeated by a basketball machine that it is a pleasure to gee at work.
