Rice grabbed a loose ball and scored the first Magrath Basket on Monday against the Jacks. The first period’s play was cautious and featured by the scintillating foul-shooting of tho Lions. The experienced Jacks forced the play to a walk and doggedly whittled the Magrath lead to 8 points by the end of the gams. Tho Jacks seemed to be a little befuddled by the use of the restraining line, and lost the ball on a number of occasions. The boys held a bid lead over Lethbridge all the way and at tines' core than doubled the Lethbridge score.
