Bishop Horace Ririe offered the invoc­ation with the choir, under the leadership of E.C. Poulsen and Mrs. Vinessa Hamilton rend­ering "0 My Father," "Abide With Me," and "Sometime We’ll Understand." Speakers were Grant G. Woolley of Lethbridge, M. Elmer Ririe and Reverend H. Pentland. Mrs. Marjorie .•alderson, accompanied by Mrs. J. A. Ririe, rendered "flEraumerm" on the cello and a Vocal Solo, "The Old Rugged Cross" was sung by H. C. Poulsen, accompanied Toy Mrs. Vinessa Ham­ilton. Clyde C. Spencer offered the benediction. Ladies of the 2nd Ward Relief Society and friends of the deceased carried the myriad of beautiful flowers. Interment took place at the local cemetery with Ira C. Fletcher offering the graveside prayer. Pallbearers were: Gus Ganskej Ed Wurzer of Taberj Pete Slobodian, Claude Longmore, Dill Kirk and Tom Greenway of Lethbridge. Wednesday morning Nov. 25th a wedding of wide interest was solemnized at the Alberta Temple when Joan, youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Nephi Harker and Ronald, eldest son of Bishop and Mrs. Horace Ririe (all of Magrath) were united in marriage. President Willard Smith performed the rites in the presence of a number of relatives. A wedding supper for the bridal couple was held at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. & Mrs* Blaine Norton. In the evening a large reception was tendered in the Assembly Hall with Mr. & Mrs. Nephi Harker, Bishop and Mrs. Horace Ririe, David Ririe, the bride and groom, and brides­maids, Betty Bly and Elaine Harrison forming the receiving line. Miss Susie Saga super­vised the Guest Bock. The many beautiful gifts and the tasty refreshnofctc were handled by friends of the bride. The couple left on a honeymoon to Missoula, Montana, after which they will temporarily reside in Magrath, where both are employed. Th,e community extends their best wishes. Jim Mat-kin was the Rocket’s star of the game with 19 points, Wes Rice, Blair Sabey and Alan Anderson netted eight each. Magrath was a­head a good part ' of the time but the Leaf’s sudden adeptness became too much for them in the dying minutes of the game. This was the second Rocket loss in the I.D.L. Saturday evening -in the new gym, the Mag­rath Rockets won their second victory of the season, when they defeated the Lethbridge 77’s, 65-57. The win was the Rocket’s first in the Alberta Senior League and their second in the same week. Wes Rice was high for the locals with 14 points, Eldon Poleman and Jim Matkin following with 13 and 12 points res­pectively.
