Moser were Sunday visitor in Magrath. “Gas” says those in the know will cost Magrath Citizens three times the price of gas to the consumer in Lethbridge. The tax­payers should*nt object as that is only in line with our present rate of assessment. When our Town Executive listened in at the gas meetings held at Raymond & Cardston he was a delegate from the Magrath Chamber of Commerce said H.N.S. After a few inquiri no one knows of any such organization here, Mr. fie Mrs. Herbert Doenz and small son Billy of Big Horn, Wyoming are visiting relatives and friends in Southern Alberta. Mrs. Doenz is the former Phoebe McIntyre. Pork Leg Roasts (tender)......... ...per lb. 520 Veal Ribs (FOR STEWING).................per lb.330 Picnic Haras (LITE).................................... . .. per lb.390 TO-DAYS RECIPE— Japanese Curry - 4 lbs,lean >• ground beef fried.(Crumble with fork as it is frying. 8 onions (sliced)- 8 or 10 sticks celery (sliced thin) Ij'tbsps.salt- 3 tbsps.curry powder. Juice £ lemon - 1 teacup ketchup - 2 tbsps. A1 sauce - 1 tbsp. worcestshire sauce - 1 can mushrooms (optional)-. Method- Cook onions, salt, H curry powder in a little watb-r— for 15 min. Mix all other ingredients together. Add the onions etc. and let simmer three or four hours. To cook rice - 1 cup rice to 2 cups of cold water. Cook in heavy kettle with a tight cover. When it starts to steam put on back of stove and let stand for half an hour or so. Do not remove lid while it is steaming. Serve curry on mounds of rice.
