RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND INSTITUTIONAL MANAGEMENT AT THE FACULTY OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES OF THE UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL MAYOR DE SAN MARCOS, PERÚ   RESUMEN Desde una perspectiva de mejora continua, fuertemente vinculada a la gestión de recursos y a las condiciones en que tales recursos se gestionan, es que buscamos establecer si existe o no una relación significativa entre el clima organizacional y la gestión institucional, la posible relación se exploró en el contexto de la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Lima – Perú durante el año 2017, la selección de dicho contexto obedeció a razones de acceso y a la posibilidad real de que nuestros resultados sean recogidos por las autoridades de turno. Nuestro estudio ha sido de tipo descriptivo y explicativo, de diseño no experimental de corte transversal descriptivo-correlacional. Se partió de asumir como hipótesis la existencia de una relación directa y positiva entre ambas variables. El tamaño de la muestra fue no probabilístico, constituido por 1 autoridad, 18 docentes, 51 administrativos y 102 estudiantes a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario de entrevista y encuesta estructurada de acuerdo a la escala Likert, la data fue procesada mediante la estadística descriptiva y la correlación de Pearson. ABSTRACT The purpose of the research work was to determine the relationship between the organizational climate and institutional management in the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the National University of San Marcos in 2017. The study was of the descriptive and explanatory type, with a non-experimental design of a descriptive-correlational cross-section that allowed determining the existing relationship between the study variables. The main hypothesis stated the direct and positive relationship between the organizational climate and institutional management. The sample size was non-probabilistic, consisting of 1 authority, 18 teachers, 51 administrative staff and 102 students to whom an interview questionnaire and survey structured on the Likert scale were applied, and processed through descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation.
