POLA PEMBINAAN PERSPEKTIF BAGI SEKTOR INFORMAL PERKOTAAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT ( STUDI KASUS : PEDAGANG KAKILIMA CAR FREE DAY DI PAMEKASAN)

This study aims to find out how big the average income level of  informal sector and to determinethe pattern of government formation is made to the existence of informal sector in the area of car free day in Pamekasan. Street vendors in the informal sector can be defined as a group or class of its small scale and artisan households (Arumdhati, 2000). Data analysis using descriptive analysis with primary data is data collected from respondents and informants, such as data about the problem of informal sector, and the range of policy guidance and development of informal sector traders by government authorities. Conclusions in this study stated that the existence of informal sector in the area car free day in Pamekasan contribute to the turnover in the surrounding economy, welfare street vendor (informal sector) can be met from the net income per month on average more than Rp.450.000,00. Informal sector can be a safety belt because of its ability in providing jobs for workers who are not accomodated in the formal sector.
