PENERAPAN TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT DI PERUSAHAAN-PERUSAHAAN PENSUPPLY PADA PT. SPI DI PANDAAN PASURUAN

Total Quality Management (TQM) is always being an actual topic in a business environmental or academic environmental, even there is no agreement yet about the definition and how about the concept in practice. Chreech (1995) defined that Total Quality Management (TQM) itself, had already been practically by manufacturer companies but there were not succesfull, even there is an useless ones (in vain). Meanwhile, James (1999) in this research explained that TQM is not easy to implement, because of the culture changes factor that very hard to be changed. Doing a changes in a culture is really hard because the skill, the staff, the relation, the role and the structure had already used to with the old culture (Luthan, 1998). Meanwhile, Ngai and Cheng in Purwanto(2002) in his research had identified the potensial predicted dimension as an application re-sistance TQM factor. This research, had hypothesis; the culture factor of worker, the infrastructure factor, the managerial factor, the organizational factor influence the successness of Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation on private manufacture companies. The result of the showed that the four variables : the culture factor of worker, the infrastructure factor, the managerial factor, the organizational factor influencing significantly the variables successness of TQM Implementation
