There has been a growing interest in state analysis near the Fe-L emission (705 eV, 1.76 nm) for the various purposes including a reduction of the weight of steel of automobile steel sheets while keeping sufficient strength. This paper presents on a theoretical study to explore the substantial enhancement of diffraction efficiency and spectral flux of laminar-type diffraction gratings around Fe-L emission spectrum. This spectral region is known as difficult to obtain a significant increase of diffraction efficiency merely employing a conventional X-ray multilayer coating due to short penetration length for low energy X-ray under grazing incidence condition.
