The neurikinin 1 (NK1) receptor is one of subtypes of the tachykinin receptors, and it is of interest in pathophysiology of psychiatric disorders, e.g., depression. [18F]FE-SPA-RQ was recently developed as a radioligand for the measurement of NK1 receptor imaging with positron emission tomography (PET) [1].
