Colloquial Czech in Translation (the comparison of dialogues in the original text and translation of the novel Good Soldier Svejk into Russian)

(in English) This bachelorʼs thesis deals with the issue of translatability of colloquial Czech into the Russian language based on the comparison of dialogues of the novel "The Good Soldier Svejk and His Fortunes in the World War" by Jaroslav Hašek and its Russian translation. The theoretical part is devoted to the stratification of the Czech and Russian languages. Moreover, it focuses on the thesis deals with the issue of equivalence, adequacy and translatability from the theoretical and practical point of view. The characteristic of colloquial Czech and its current position in the language system is also included. In the practical part the possibilities of substituting Czech colloquial words and grammar structures in dialogues in the Russian text is presented.
