Education of Workers in Current Palliative Care in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the education of palliative care workers in the Czech Republic. It also presents a comprehensive view of palliative care in the Czech Republic and on a global scale. The specifics of palliative care are mentioned in terms of general characteristics of this area of health care and in relation to the qualification requirements of workers. Part of the work is a quantitative survey of educational needs of palliative care workers in selected facilities in the Central Bohemia Region and Prague. By means of a questionnaire survey, which was realized electronically, the current state of education and requirements for education of workers were ascertained.
