Abstract: The civilizations conversation idea has made lots of questions and requires it the level of arabic and islamic men and modern thought on about how the civilization’s commuonication continue between the ego ( arabs and muslims ) and the others foreigners ( the west ) must be .So the points of view and opinions have been different between those who believe in every thing is new and on the open thought all over the word and this is the first part of people who think in all civilizations own and foreign , thus they can go with all. The other part of people ( the refusal one ) , it is old in his thoughts and he deals and keeps all the arab islamic principles only , Consequently he refuses the civilization and continuation with other side ( the west ) . الملخص : أثارت فكرة حوار الحضارات الكثير من التساؤلات في الفكر العربي و الإسلامي المعاصر حول كيفية التواصل الحضاري بين الأنا ( العرب و المسلمين ) و الآخر ( الغرب ) , فاختلفت الاتجاهات الفكرية بين تيار حداثي يؤمن بضرورة الانفتاح على الحضارة الغربية للخروج من حالة التخلف و تيار الرفض و هو اتجاه تراثي سلفي يدعو إلى التمسك بالقيم العربية الإسلامية و رفض التواصل الحضاري مع الغرب و تيار الجمع و التوفيق بين الوافد و الموروث .. الكلمات المفتاحية: الفكر، الحوار، التواصل الحضاري، الانا، الاخ
