The process of aging in most societies in Europe is observed. Individual states face the challenges of providing care to increasing number of elderly people. Traditionally, the most important care-giver is family. In many countries, including Poland, an increase of female migrants is observed, what is one of the factor influencing the decline of care-capital in families. The article discusses the problem of changes of care-giving systems in aging Europe in the context of migration processes.
