The article is an outline of political thought of Ignacy Korwin-Milewski, one of the representatives of the group of landlords, who operated in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries in Northwestern provinces of the Russian Empire. The author attempted to expose two issues, which seems important from the point of political views of the main character of the paper. The first relates to the definition and characterization of the basic features of the Lithuanian nobility, as well as determining its fundamental political objectives. The second one determines the relationship between the nobility and the Russian emperor.
