Students are entering higher education classrooms today with a variety of differences related to their learning, culture, background and language. A diversified classroom brings its own unique challenges. How can a professor effectively meet the unique learning needs of students in the classroom? This workshop focuses on the concept of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Come and learn new strategies and methods to meet the needs of all learners in your classroom. UDL provides a blueprint for creating instructional goals, methods, materials and assessments that work for everyone — not a single, one-size-fits-all solution but rather flexible approaches that can be customized and adjusted for individual needs
