Goree concerning minor details of his Brigade and their post in Centerville, Va. Thomas expresses that he does not have much to write about, except matters dealing with the military. He describes to his mother his Brigade's exceptional "Evening drill," and expresses that they are all very anxious to make a move toward Washington. Thomas describes the post in Centerville and how well supplied the location is, he also expresses that he longs to hear from the family, and has not recieved a letter since he left Texas
