Kittrell sending his condolences about a servent named "Henry" who has passed away, and discusses details of a possible battle his regiment may participate in near Centerville, Va. Thomas explains that General Longstreet has recieved some orders of action, but is unsure of the details of those orders, and that he has applied to become an aide to General Longstreet
