The article analyzes the pretext of F. Sologub’s tragedy “The Gift of Wise Bees”. The article by F. Zelinskiy “Ancient Lenore” contained analysis of various developments of the “Lenore’s motif” in ancient and new literature. It was the scientist’s retelling of various interpretations that became the source of the idea for the tragedy by F. Sologub. He took advantage not only of the most stable motives of the works by his predecessors – the motif of the return of the dead groom, the motif of the statue, the motif of Protesilaus’ betrayal, the motif of the dispute between Laodamia’s dead husband and her father etc. – but also embodied the most important idea of his philosophical and creative concept, which was the very goal of stylization. Giving Aphrodite the properties of both the goddess of love and the goddess of revenge (Aphrodite-Moira), the playwright expressed in her image the idea of the identity of love and death, as well as the creating and destroying power of art, symbolized by Lysippos, a new character in comparison with the works of F. Sologub’s predecessors. It is in the fragments of the tragedy which are free from the stylization of the pretext, F. Sologub expresses the most important for his creative work ideas.Key words: philosophical and creative concept, basic myth, ballad, stylization, pretext, motif.У статті аналізується претекст трагедії Ф. Сологуба «Дар мудрих бджіл». Стаття Ф. Зелінського «Антична Ленора» містила аналіз різних розробок «мотиву Ленори» в античній та новій літератури. Саме переказ вченим різноманітних інтерпретацій став джерелом задуму трагедії Ф. Сологуба. Він скористався не тільки найбільш стійкими мотивами творів попередників – мотив повернення мертвого нареченого, мотив статуї, мотив зради Протесилая, мотив суперечки мертвого з батьком Лаодамії та ін., – а й втілив найважливішу ідею своєї філософсько-творчої концепції, що і було метою стилізації. Наділяючи Афродиту властивостями богині любові і богині помсти (Афродита-Мойра), драматург втілив в її образі ідею тотожності любові і смерті, а також ідею про двоїсту силу мистецтва, що народжує та губить, символом якого є Лісіпп – новий в порівнянні з творами попередників персонаж. Саме у фрагментах трагедії, вільних від стилізації претекста, Ф. Сологуб висловлює найбільш важливі для його творчості ідеї.Ключові слова: філософсько-творча концепція, базовий міф, балада, стилізація, претекст, мотив. В статье анализируется претекст трагедии Ф. Сологуба «Дар мудрых пчел». Статья Ф. Зелинского «Античная Ленора» содержала анализ различных разработок «мотива Леноры» в античной и новой литературе. Именно пересказ ученым различных интерпретаций стал источником замысла трагедии Ф. Сологуба. Он воспользовался не только наиболее устойчивыми мотивами произведений предшественников – мотив возвращения мертвого жениха, мотив статуи, мотив измены Протесилая, мотив спора мертвого с отцом Лаодамии и др., – но и воплотил важнейшую идею своей философско-творческой концепции, что и было целью стилизации. Наделяя Афродиту свойствами богини любви и богини мщения (Афродита-Мойра), драматург выразил в ее образе идею тождественности любви и смерти, а также о рождающей и губящей силе искусства, символом которого является Лисипп – новый в сравнении с произведениями предшественников персонаж. Именно во фрагментах трагедии, свободных от стилизации претекста, Ф.
