This study aims to assess the effect of variations of welding current and bead angle of 60o and 80o on the the mechanical properties and the appropriate welding method as a connector for two SS 410 using the SMAW welding method (Shielded Metal Arc Welding). The current variations are 85 A, 90 A, 110 A and groove type with V-angle of 60o and 80o. After the spesimen welding process, the microstructure, vickers, and impact strenght were tested. The results obtained showed that the highest hardness value occured in 110 A currents with 80o angle of motion at 165 VHN in the HAZ region (1) which has ferrite and carbide structure that makes the area hard.
