Various characteristics of student evaluation on the curriculum have been analyzed on the basis of a questionnaire survey conducted on the students at the Department of International Studies of a certain university in Japan. 1. Students who indicated a degree of satisfaction in their studies in general education courses and specialized courses seem to show a greater eagerness to learn than those who indicated that they were dissatisfied. 2. In the case of the student groups who are satisfied with their personal achievements in the general-education subjects, the percentage of those who are satisfied with their achievements, in four other subjects including specialized subjects is also high.
