La spirale della violenza politica. Riflessioni antropologiche sui cortocircuiti quotidiani nella vita delle persone migranti

The aim of this contribution is to critically reflect upon multiple spaces and forms of violence. In particular, the focus is on how violence pervasively affects the dimension of migrants’ and asylum seekers’ everyday life. Starting from the evocative idea of a spiral, we have tried to portray the vertiginous movement that characterizes the violence and its expressions. The first part of this contribution is mainly devoted to describing structural violence produced by the bond of normative and cultural violence. In the second part, the reflection on the multiple spaces and forms of violence is focused on the notion of grey zone in order to make explicit the difficulty of clarifying hidden forms of violence and resistance in the dimension of everyday life
