For many years the author has worked on the edition of one of the parts of this astrological collection, the first in the Latin West to provide a spherical view. It concerns an illustrated corpus of manuscripts which is both a puzzle and an attraction for researchers at least since Aby Warbourg and Charles Haskins’ generation. The author presents a brief history of the studies on the text and proposes as well several thoughts about editing problems (paleography, codicology, lexicography) which came up in his research
