Lorraine Graham put the name of Lincoln University in the spotlight during the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Graham, a native of Manchester, Jamaica, set many national high school track records before coming to Lincoln in 1995 on a track scholarship. Majoring in Criminal Justice, she went on to set NCAA Division II records in the 400 meter indoor and as a member of the 4 x 400 meter indoor relay. Both records were set at the NCAA II Championships in 1997. Lorraine graduated in 1999 but her track career was far from over.
