Последние правители великих империй: две типологические параллели

The article is devoted to the prophecies of “The Book of Daniel” and to its interpretation. The recent data associated with the study of the manuscripts, stored in the Russian State Library (RSL), allow to reappraise the role of the ancient texts, which attracted attention not only at the early stages of the existence of civilizations, but in the modern period as well. There is discussed the concept of changing of monarchs and monarchies, by which were governed the outstanding historiographers and historians of the past. In connection with the tragic death in summer of 1918 of the family of the last Russian Emperor Nikolay Alexandrovich Romanov again there was escalated the interest to the prophecies contained in the book, presented to the second Tsar of the Romanov Dynasty - Alexei Mikhailovich ("The Most Peaceful").Статья посвящена пророчествам «Книги пророка Даниила» и их толкованиям. Последние данные, связанные с изучением хранящихся в Российской государственной библиотеке (РГБ) рукописей, позволяют по-новому оценить роль древних текстов, привлекавших к себе внимание как на ранних стадиях существования цивилизаций, так и в новое время. Рассматривается концепция сменяемости монархов и монархий, которой руководствовались выдающиеся историографы и бытописатели прошлого. В связи с трагической гибелью летом 1918 г. семьи последнего императора Российской империи Николая Александровича Романова вновь обострился интерес к пророчествам, содержащимся в книге, преподнесенной второму царю династии Романовых - Алексею Михайловичу (Тишайшему)
