The University of North Dakota will observe the 10th anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, with a remembrance ceremony outside the Memorial Union on campus at noon on Friday. The ceremony will include remarks by UND President Robert Kelley and others, an appearance by the UND Army Reserve Officer Training Corps color guard, music and the laying of a wreath near the Union flagpoles at the headstone and tree commemorating Sept. 11. It will last approximately 45 minutes and will be moved inside the Union in the event of inclement weather.
