North Dakota Supreme Court to hear four oral arguments at UND Law School

Court will also judge the student internal Moot Court finals The North Dakota Supreme Court will hear four oral arguments and the internal fall Moot Court competition final argument at the University of North Dakota School of Law Nov. 3-4. All five oral arguments will be held in the Baker Courtroom on the third floor of the UND School of Law. The Supreme Court visit to the law school provides a unique opportunity for the members of the law school community, UND campus and surrounding area to see the state’s highest court in session. In addition to hearing actual cases, the UND Law students have the distinct privilege of having the Supreme Court judge the final argument of the internal fall Moot Court competition. The Justices will also lecture in law school classes and connect with law students and faculty through other special sessions. “We are so appreciative of the Supreme Court Justices for bringing the court to UND. This is a special opportunity for our students because a visit like this doesn’t happen at all law schools. The time they spend with us is invaluable,” said UND Law spokesman Rob Carolin.
