The University of North Dakota Department of Biology today announced David Crews, an integrative biology professor at the University of Texas at Austin, will be the 2015 Wheeler Lecture Speaker. The lecture will be Oct. 8 from 7-8 p.m., in Leonard Hall, Room 100. Crews’ lecture for the event is titled “The contaminated environment and what it means for humans and wildlife,” and will focus on the health effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals in humans and mechanisms of multi-generational exposure. The Wheeler Lecture Series features important scientists who speak about the newest findings in biological research to a general audience.
