The University of North Dakota Undergraduate Chemistry Club will, once again, be hosting Chemistry Fun Day for children in grades 5-8. This afternoon of fun and learning will be from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, March 28, in Abbott Hall, room 101. This free event includes a number of hands-on activities designed to engage and educate young people. Children interested in attending are asked to have a parent or guardian register them before March 23, as space is limited and all participants are to receive chemistry prizes. The theme for this year’s experiments is “The Sweet Side of Chemistry: Candy,” and will focus on a few of everyone’s favorite sugary treats.
