Performance to feature new work by award-winning Grand Forks composer Matthew Peterson The University of North Dakota Wind Ensemble, under the direction of James Popejoy, will present a spring concert on Thursday, April 24, at 8 p.m. in the Chester Fritz Auditorium. Tickets, available at the door, are $6 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, or $12 per family. Their program will open with the premiere of a new work for band written by Grand Forks native and award winning composer Matthew Peterson, titled A Winged Heart. This concert will also feature Percy Grainger\u27s classic suite Lincolnshire Posy, considered a cornerstone in the repertoire for wind ensemble.
