Civil Rights March: March 1965

Demonstrators for Civil Rights march through campus carrying sings on March 13, 1965. The Demonstrators are photographed on the east side of Merrifield Hall. In the wake of incidents in Selma, AL, nearly 125 students, faculty, and towns people marched in protest of the restriction of African American Voting Rights in the South and discrimination against migrant workers.
