The School Travel Advisory Group was set up to find ways to encourage walking, cycling, or taking the bus or train to school in the United Kingdom. The group\u27s recommendations include provision of better travel facilities at schools; better, more affordable, and better targeted transport to school, including a minimum standard for concessionary child bus fares; more road safety education for children; better training for bus drivers; and improving enforcement of speeding, parking, and other traffic regulations
