Desde el desierto: las fuerzas erosivas de la ficción en Ciencias morales (Martín Kohan) y La mirada invisible (Diego Lerman) / From the Desert: the erosive forces of Fiction in Ciencias morales (Martín Kohan) and La mirada invisible (Diego Lerman)

The novel Ciencias Morales (2007), by Martín Kohan, narrates life at Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires during Malvinas’ War. A meticulous and precise story reproduces the ambition of total control and the oppressive atmosphere inside the school. A series of silences and ambiguities, though, reveal the impossibility of such control and its illusory narration. Even when it’s not named straight, war structures and goes through the whole novel. In this work we analyze the senses that Ciencias morales produces regarding war and the transformations on them that take place in the film La Mirada Invisible (2010), by Diego Lerman. The aim is to research into the way in which some fictions of the 21st century put themselves according to state stories linked to biopower- as defined by Michel Foucault- to narrate the recent past: dictatorship, war and the link between them.Keywords: Malvinas’ war; Kohan; fiction; control; resistanceEn la novela Ciencias morales (2007), de Martín Kohan, se narra la vida en el Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires durante la guerra de Malvinas. Un relato minucioso y detallista reproduce la ambición de control total y la atmósfera opresiva del interior del colegio. Sin embargo, una serie de silencios y ambigüedades revelan la imposibilidad del control total y el carácter ilusorio de su relato. La guerra, sin ser nombrada directamente, atraviesa y estructura la novela. La película La mirada invisible (2010), de Diego Lerman, toma como base la novela de Kohan y reproduce lo esencial de la historia. La acción en la película, no obstante, se ubica en el mes de marzo de 1982, justo antes de la guerra. Este desplazamiento temporal se une a otras transformaciones que se operan en la película. El objetivo de este trabajo es explorar estas transformaciones y sus significados para pensar en el modo en que la ficción, en el contexto del siglo XXI, narra el pasado reciente: la dictadura, la guerra y el vínculo entre ellas.
