Pola Perkembangan Pemanfaatan Lahan di Kecamatan Bukit Raya Kota Pekanbaru

The problem of cities were rapid growth population resulting in limited urban space. Bukit Raya Subdistrict was experiencing rapid development of land use, this was due to the expansion of urban activities to the periphery, such as an increase in residential areas due to high growth population. The aim of this research was analysis petterns of built in land use development on Bukit Raya subdistrict 10 years. (2007-2017). Objectives to be achieved in this reaserch were to identify growth population, identify growth the development of built in land use, identify patterns of development in land use and identify impact factors of land use changes. Based study uses quantitative data collection techniques both primary and secondary. The study was conducted with three basic analysis, spatial analysis through comparative analysis of the image overlay in 2007 and 2017 using GIS, descriptive analysis, and crosstabs analysis using SPSS. The result of this reaserch were growth population were affected to land use changes in Bukit Raya Subdistrict. It cause, needs of land use has incrase, the population in bukit raya subdistrict has incrased sgcnificanly, in 2007 the population of bukit raya subdistrict was 83,509 people developed in 2017 as many as 10,4426 people. Tha main activity in bukit raya subdistrict were settlement, trade and service. changes in the characteristics of rapid land use were in Simpang Tiga Village, while changes in the characteristics of land use were slowly to occur in Tangkerang Selatan Sub-District, Tangkerang Utara Village and Tangkerang Labuai Sub-District. The pattern of built land in Bukit Raya Subdistrict was diffuse and eventually undergoes linear merger due to the emergence of built up land. Factors that impact of in land use that occur can not be separated from location factors, land prices, environmental conditions, accessibility and facilities
