Peranan Kepala Desa dalam Mengkoordinasikan Pembangunan di Desa Pulau Kopung Kecamatan Sentajo Raya Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This study aims to see and find out how far the Role of the Village Head in Coordinating Development in Pulau Kopung Village, Sentajo Raya Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Indicators of assessment of the roles used include the role of Unity of Action, role as Communication, role as Division of Work and role as Discipline. The method used in this study is the quantitative research method in the form of descriptive analysis. Data collection instruments in this study prioritize questionnaires as the main means of obtaining raw materials to obtain real conditions. In addition, this study also uses observation and interview techniques. While sampling, researchers used a census technique that is the entire population sampled by reason of a relatively small population where the research subject is considered to have a relationship with the characteristics of the population in one location or one place. The results of the study concluded that the Village Head Sufficiently Role in Development in Pulau Kopung Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. From the results of the Questionnaire analysis that has been responded to by 39 respondents regarding the extent of the role of the Village Chief in coordinating Development in Pulau Kopung Village, Sentajo Raya Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency, is in the category of "Enough Role" in Development in Pulau Kopung Village. In carrying out its role for Development in Pulau Kopung Village, the Village Head encountered several obstacles, namely lack of communication and lack of role in the community
