The effect of more variable on the birth weight of Bali cattle

ABSTRACT Variation of birth weight effected many factor, more than; weight of dam, long pregnant, parity, age of dam, condition of dam, sex of calfs. The objective of this research was to know variable more effect and not effect on the birth weight of Bali cattle. The number of 42 pregnant cows and calfs. Data were analyzed subjected to statistical analysis procedure of double linier regretion on methode step-wise. 68% variable weight of dam important effect to birth weight. Result showed that : Y = -7.647 + 0.07 x1, white correlation 0.825 for weight of dam. Y = -2.247 + 0.053 x1 + 0.511 x6 , white correlation 0.747 for condition of dam. Variable long pregnant, sex of calf, age of dam and parity not effect for birth weight. It is concluded that the birth weight was important effect by wight of dam and condition of dam.
