This 1932 map of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park includes the North Carolina portion of the park along with a part of Tennessee. The map was created by the Carolina Mountain Club of Asheville, North Carolina. Established in 1923, the club was a spinoff of a chapter of the Appalachian Trail Club. Hand written annotations split the map into sections with mileage between specific points indicated
