Pink Gentian

This photograph is included in the “Photo Album of the Great Smokey Mountains” in the Special Collections of Hunter Library. The spelling of “Smokey” in the album title is no longer used since the establishment of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in 1934. The caption on this image reads, “A bed of pink Gentian on trail to Mtn. LeConte at the timberline.
