These documents pertain to the life and work of Cherokee woodcarver, sculptor, and teacher, Amanda Crowe. Included are: her resume done in 1961, a press release produced by the Guild, in the 1970s or 1980s; a transcript of an interview done by Edward Dupuy and Clifford Hotchkiss in 1965; a biography written in the mid-1980s; a 1982 commendation from the Cherokee Historical Association; and a press release by the Department of the Interior dated 1970.
