Reuben. B. Robertson is honored with Man of the South award for 1950

Reuben B. Robertson was named 1950’s “Man of the South” and was honored during a December 16th banquet. Many came forward to speak highly of Robertson creating a retrospect of his life service. Free Enterprise and the Community – a Case History was the theme of the night. In this photograph, Mr. Robertson is at the Speakers’ table with (left to right) Tull Jamison, Reverend C. Grier Davis, Colonel Hubert F. Lee, J. Gerald Cowan, sitting next to Mr. Robertson is Mrs. Robertson and Senator Clyde R. Hoey.
