Pastor O. P. Ledford, High Street Baptist Church

In 1957 there were at least 15 Champion employees who were ordained ministers. Most of their pastoral duties took place outside of work, but when a special service was needed during work hours, Champion often gave release time. In this photograph O. P. Ledford, cutter operator in Finishing, and pastor of High Street Baptist Church, prepares to call at a home where death has taken a loved one.
