In this paper some results on the analysis of a recently introduced family of optimization algorithms, named MmCn-BBO are presented. The algorithms have been generated starting from the Biogeography Based Optimization (BBO) algorithm, introducing new features aimed to improve the convergence and the reliability of the methods. Here, MmCn-BBO is applied to the optimization of antenna problems: the results show the efficiency of the proposed schemes, that in all the considered cases outperform standard BBO
