The Olivetti’s architectural heritage, important evidence of 'new architecture', has undergone, since the second half of the nineties of the last century, interventions to ensure the reuse of the buildings. The obosolescence of the buildings’ equipments and the inadequacy of space compared to the changing needs of the current owners have determined the realization of changes at both architectural, distributive and material point of view. The examination of some of the interventions conducted so far highlights that objectives such as the functional and the performance efficiency have prevailed over the conservative ones. Certainly the preservation of architecture through the reuse requires a comparison with the increasingly complex regulator...
