This reflection is part of the research on pre-professional teacher training practice according to the “pedagogical model” of Universidad Nacional de Educación (unae) in Ecuador, with the participation of students from the BA Program in Basic Education who were in their second and third cycle of teacher training. The order and meaning of pre-professional practice proposed by the unae model follows the current pedagogical scientific postulates about the development of teacher training practices and that they are also similar to the experience of pre-professional practices developed by Walter Peñaloza at Universidad de la Cantuta (Perú).
