AbstractThis article is a product of the process of a qualitative research project; it focuses on the analysis of the information given by teachers about their theoretical knowledge and their work experiences form the classroom involving the methods in which they teach children how to read and write and what they have learned during their first teaching of basic literacy, and their work as educators.
