This paper presents the most significant findings of the research titled“The Press as a Didactic Support to the Reading and Writing Processes:Systematization of Experiences” by the School Press Program from preschoolsin Medellín. The case study was used as a qualitative research techniqueof the work carried out at the José María Córdoba Kindergarten by teacherMónica López, whose methodology is based on using the newspaper as ateaching resource in the classroom.
