Photograph taken from the perspective of the Bangor City Hall tower located at the corner of Hammond and Columbia Streets, a building which opened in 1893. Much of this area destroyed by the Great Fire of Bangor in April 1911. Shown here are Norumbega Hall which stood on an island between the Kenduskeag Stream split at at the bridge on Franklin Street.
