Blood transfusion is a common practice in the hospital setting in which the role of nursing is essential, specific knowledge being necessary to avoid risks and complications. The aim of this work was to study the knowledge and management on blood products with a group of nurses on blood products. To do this, we conducted a cross-sectional study using a previously validated questionnaire with 25 items and two possible answers to each question. The questionnaire included questions on pre and post transfusion knowledge as well as several actions to take during the technique in the case of complications.
