The perception of employees on human resource practices of organizations affect their performance. When employees perceive human resources practices as being effective, their performance would be affected positively. This study therefore, explored the qualitative factors influencing the perception of employees’ on performance management practices of public institutions in Ghana. We explored the perception of some selected employees of the Bolgatanga Polytechnic on performance management practices of the Polytechnic.
