Solid waste management remains a serious problem in most developing nations, even although it consumes a larger portion of the municipal budget. Thisarticle examines factors that might influence solid waste generation and solidwaste management behavior of households in Ansho Town southern Ethiopia. Simple random sampling techniques were employed to select 343 households forprimary data collection. The data were subjected to both descriptive and econometric technique of analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify households’ solid waste generation dominant factors.
